The full morning brief.
Memory, optics, and the difference between a catalyst and a confirmed setup.

The lens for this edition
The October 1 Morning Scan refreshes five of 33 tracked names. MU has the highest imported rank, followed by LITE, COHR, AAOI, and HOOD for intraday research. Those rankings describe the source scan, not a complete comparison with the 28 names still awaiting a same-day refresh.
What connects the leaders
The scan’s central theme is AI infrastructure, through memory and optical networking. Its MU thesis focuses on the market’s response to earnings and guidance. The optics names concentrate on specific reclaim levels rather than an unconditional long thesis. These are hypotheses to check against current prices and original company disclosures.
What would change the view
Failure to hold a breakout, a close below an invalidation level, or a broad change in rates can weaken the setup. Treat correlated optics names as related exposures when planning risk. An intraday trigger does not automatically confirm a swing trade.
What is still missing
The scan is incomplete and does not include verified market breadth, a full price history, or independently checked earnings statistics. No numerical targets have been invented to fill those gaps. Charts load separately from TradingView; the Notion research remains a dated snapshot.
